L’Oréal received the Grand Prize for Gender Diversity in the CAC 40 Category, as well as the Gender Diversity Award in the Consumer Goods and Services category, at the 1st Gender Diversity Awards, held on 30 January by the Ethics & Boards Observatory and the Institut du Capitalisme Responsable (Institute for Responsible Capitalism).


L’Oréal is ranked in 2016 among the top 20 global companies in terms of Diversity & Inclusion according to the new Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) index launched by Thomson Reuters. L’Oréal is in 19th place out of ove 5,000 companies evaluated all over the world.L’Oréal was recognized in 2016 by Ethisphere as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies, and has been part of the United Nations Global Compact 100 stock index since its creation.L’Oréal France, the Chimex plant received a Diversity Award from Diversity Conseil for its innovative and collaborative recruitment and integration actions.


L’Oréal has received the Disability Matters “Marketplace” trophy in Europe.L’Oréal has received the Disability Matters “Workplace” trophy in the USA.L’Oréal Greece, received the “Gold Award” in the “Disability Diversity Program » category for the organization of their Diversity Awareness Day, presented by « HR Professional” magazine and “Boussias communication” in Greece.


L’Oréal was rewarded by the Arborus fund for its outstanding rollout of gender equality certifications in Europe. Since the launch of the GEEIS (Gender Equality European and International Standard) in 2010, 24 of the Group’s subsidiaries have obtained the certification.The corporate social responsibility ratings agency Vigeo recognized L'Oréal as one of the foremost companies for its gender diversity policy.


L’Oréal USA received the "Diversity and Inclusion" Award (DANDI) for its commitment and innovative action with regard to Diversiy.L’Oréal Morocco received an award at the “8th Rencontre International de la Diversité”, for Reveal, a innovative L’Oréal business game that helps to detect talents that are socially diverse.L’Oréal Canada received the “Best Diversity Employers” Awards in recognition of their employee training program “Valorizing Intergenerational Differences” that promotes the understanding of differences and openness to others.


L’Oréal Canada indexed “Best Diversity Employer”.L’Oréal France received the Grand Prix for his Global Policy in Diversity by the Diversity Conseil.


The Pace Leadership in Ethics Award, awarded to Jean-Paul Agon by the Ethics Resource Center.L’Oréal received the “International Communication Deployment” by Diversity Conseil.


L’Oréal France, received the Diversity Award by the Employment and Diversity Forum for Seniors.L’Oréal received the “Fostering the recruitment of seniors” by Diversity Conseil.


In Prague, L’Oréal was presented with the Corporate Diversity Innovation award by the World Diversity Leadership Council.
